La Rentrée in France and How to Master Your Own Re-Entry into the Fall Season

Happy Labor Day, Beautiful!

In France this first Monday of September is known as ‘La Rentrée’ (literally ‘the re-entry’) and it is anything but a calm day off.

This is when everything comes back to life at full speed after most of the country has been on a full month of summer vacation in August.

Schools begin, work resumes, shops reopen, new books hit the shelves, clothing styles in the windows are all fall-focused.

Quiet summer streets give way to bustling city life all over Paris come September 2.

Boutiques show off the latest looks in preparation for Paris Fashion Week, which will be Sept 23 – Oct 1 this year.

So, how are you setting yourself up for a stellar re-entry into the final quarter of the calendar year, and the beginning of a new fiscal one?

Here are my favorite tips for navigating this time of transition with style, grace, power, and joy.
