One of my favorite parts of getting ready for Christmas is unwrapping the ornaments.
Sure, there are all the ‘filler’ balls and tinsel, but you know there’s that handful – or maybe your collection has really accumulated over the years! – of ornaments that represent something dear.
Maybe it was a special trip.
Maybe it was a life transition or milestone.
Maybe it was something someone you love gave you, or that they loved and left to you.
Whatever it may be, unfolding the paper around these beauties is like carefully unfolding memories we cherish, and then hanging them in a place of honor to be remembered again.
